MANY Options wouldn't be able do the things they do without the help of their many volunteers and contributors. We would like to thank the following people and groups for their support:
PlusTimeNH: This organization was created to help sustain afterschool programming in NH. Visit their site to see all they have to offer.
City of Keene Youth Services: Learn more about the youth services in the Keene area for kids. The site includes links to Youth Services programs and Youth Community Resources and opportunities, such as the MANY Options program.
MANY: Monadnock Action Network for Youth (or MANY) helps local youth-serving agencies and the community members coordinate on youth and preventative programs. MANY also supports the development of substance-free activities for youth in the Monadnock region. MANY Initiatives include Its About Us web site for teens and Its For Parents web site for parents of teens.
Fast Friends: Every week the kids are driven to the Fast Friends site to work with the greyhounds that have been saved.
Keene Community Kitchen: Kids go to the Community Kitchen to prepare food to be handed out to needy families in the area. The community kitchen also provides snacks and drinks for the MANY Options program.
Keene Family YMCA: We have a membership with the YMCA that allows the kids to use the YMCA facilities for swimming and extra curricular sports.
Monadnock Humane Society: The kids get an opportunity to go to the shelter to learn how to take care of animals, work and play with the animals and other tasks the shelter staff needs help with.
Stonewall Farm: At this working farm the kids learn how to take care of the animals, do work around the barn, learn about farming, work in the gardens, and work and play with the animals.
Acting Out: Jodi Clark is currently running a program call Improv Sampler, and will run options for Acting Out all year.
Challenge: Jim Dudkiewicz is in charge of the outdoor adventure programming.
Nancy A. Cavanaugh: Parent volunteer Nancy Cavanaugh helps us with the web site.
Art Works!: Art Works!, a program of MoCo Arts, runs various programs for the kids year round including Pottery, Comic book making and drawing instruction.
MoCo Arts: Dance instructors from MoCo have taught jazz, hip hop and modern dance to kids at MANY Options.
Yankee Lanes: The kids go to Yankee Lanes to bowl once a week during various times of the year.
Linda Galanes: Linda provides yoga instructions for the kids.
Christine Parshall: Christine works with the UNH Cooperative Extension and takes turns with Keene State Dietetic Interns to teach nutrition and cooking. She is also a member of the Advisory Council.
Rob from Toy City : Rob is the "Dungeon Master" and runs the Dungeons & Dragons option. Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game (RPG) that has been in existence since 1974 and is played by people of all ages.
American Red Cross, AIDS Services, Cheshire Coalition for Tobacco Free Communities, Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention all for providing a one day program for students that participated in a Wellness Option for Session 4 of Many Options.
Keene State College • Recycling Facilities • Project Mentor • Residential Life
City of Keene Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department for allowing Many Options to adopt a park at Bent’s Ice Pond on Arch Street.
Castle Center Adult Day Care: kids from MANY Options travel to the Castle Center to spend time playing board games and doing arts & crafts with the clients there.
Marlbrough-Harrisville After School Program for collaborating with Many Options to offer a Double Dutch jump roping option.
